This picture is old, I am already at 23 weeks so let me get you cought up...
We had our ultrasound at 20 weeks. We're told its a girl! YAY! Everything looked good at the ultrasound - 4 valves in the heart, the umbilical cord looked good... heart rate was at 138. Our sweet little girl didnt want to cooperate and either had her legs together or was sitting indian style during the ultrasound, but she's a cutie thats for sure!!!
She has been moving around a ton! Lately she likes to kick my bladder... which is really uncomfortable but its fun to feel her move around. Elliot has been lucky enough to feel some movements and even got to SEE a movement at one point - how fun.
I did go to a few garage sales and made a few pink purchases... thats a lot of fun but sure seems surreal!!! Is this really happening?! I picked up a Baby Bjorn for $5. What a great find! Here is a picture of Elliot testing it out! :)
We had our latest checkup this morning... the doctor said everything looked good as far as measurements go and her heartrate was 146. The results from the ultrasound were mostly normal but they said it appears as though her stomach may be slightly dialated, they arent sure why and my doctor said that he has never seen them make a note of this before... so we get to go back for a second ultrasound next week. I am kind of excited because we will get to see her again (and maybe know for sure that she is in fact a SHE) but a little nervous that something might be wrong. Based on my doctors comments I know I shouldnt worry... but its hard not to! So we will know more in a week hopefully...
The remodel is coming along nicely. We are all done painting everything but the nursery and have picked out the color for the nursery (light blue). We are just plugging away on the finish flooring in the hallway, then comes doors and trim. Hopefully we can get this all done by mid-June when the nursery furniture is scheduled to arrive - I am so excited to get that all put together!!! We are going with a Noah's ark theme and have already gotten the bedding set and border via craigslist... so thats exciting :) We have also started registering (which is overwhelming!) and I already have 3 showers scheduled! Wow - what a blessing!!!
